How to volunteer at the Houston 2017 NFL Big Game

Every year, you and the rest of the country tune in to view the most exciting sporting event of the year: the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl attracts a wide range of personalities; some people enjoy the parties for the food, while others like to watch the commercials. Most, of course, watch for the love of the game. Next year, do more than just tune in on Super Bowl Sunday. Work behind the scenes to help your favorite yearly event come alive. The 2017 Super Bowl will be in Houston and the Host Committee is recruiting up to 10,000 volunteers for the event. If you can commit three or more shifts (of 6-8 hours) during Super Bowl LI week, Jan. 27 through Feb. 5, consider becoming a part of Houston history next year.

Along with the time commitment, volunteers must be 18 years or older by Dec. 31, 2016 and attend the mandatory Recruitment Center and Training events. Once you’re prepped for volunteering, you’ll be able to specify your preference as to where you’d like to volunteer and how often. The Host Committee will provide more information on specific roles later in the year.

If you’re ready to become a volunteer, apply online today. As a volunteer, you’ll receive a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a part of Super Bowl LI, and will also receive a prize from the Host Committee. Visit the Houston Super Bowl LI website to learn more.
