Are you passionate about horses and helping people? SIRE, Houston Therapeutic Equestrian Center has been giving back to our community in a very special way since 1983. The center boosts the quality of life for people with special needs, using horses to provide therapies and educate the Houston Area.

With 3 locations throughout the city, the non-profit depends on the kind hearts of their volunteers to put in more than 30,000 hours to assist hundreds of clients and horses each year. You can be a horse leader, walk along side clients on horses, perform administrative duties, assist with fundraising, and help with scheduling and grooming. Rest assured, your help will be greatly appreciated as volunteers play critical roles in keeping the center running.

While the center has two huge volunteer training sessions each year, SIRE does welcome new volunteers between those sessions, just fill out this form or find out more information on their volunteer page.  Share your big heart for people and horses this season as you help people with disabilities find success through horsemanship therapy!
