Act of Chair-ity Proves That Chivalry Hasn’t Died

A kind act of charity doesn’t necessary have to come from your wallet, as one young man from Tampa, Florida recently demonstrated. Brought to our attention by Good News Network, 23 year old Cesar Larios, a student and employee of College HUNKS Moving and Hauling Service, went above the call of duty during a move for an assisted living facility.

The moving team found themselves on an elevator in the 10-story building with an elderly lady when it got stuck. Immediately, the nice lady stated that she couldn’t stand for long periods of time, so Cesar wasted no time becoming her human bench. For an entire 30 minutes, he made sure she was comfortable as the elevator was serviced.

College HUNKS President and Co-Founder Nick Friedman, is very proud of the way that Cesar handled the situation given that HUNKS stands for Honest, Uniformed, Nice, Knowledgeable Students. He stated, “Our company mission is to Move the World both literally and emotionally, and this is an example of our brand coming to life.”

This genuine moment shows that old fashioned acts of chivalry are still alive and that people do have the ability to impress us with acts of kindness. Give a little bit of yourself to someone today, whether it’s holding a store open, helping with groceries or giving someone a compliment!
