Get Involved at The Houston Museum of Natural Science!

Are you fascinated by all that the Houston Museum of Natural Science has to offer? Well, now know you can be apart of helping others fall in love with the museum as well, with volunteer opportunities being available for adults ages 18 years and older!

Being a docent at the HMNS is an exciting volunteer opportunity to learn, and teach without prior experience! You can enlighten kindergartners during Early Investigations, bring the museum to classrooms across Houston for Docents To-Go, give informal interactive science lessons while being a Floor Presenter Docents, and of course, give Tours, and explaining Special Exhibits to guests around HMNS.

The opportunities to provide fun, educational experiences to others are endless at the HMNS, even expanding to the George Observatory at Brazos Bend State Park. There you’ll be helping visitors view the sky and answering their questions.
Don’t forget about the HMNS at Sugarland, the same volunteer opportunities are offered there as well. Be a significant part of one of the most important learning vessels in Houston!
