Fight Breast Cancer at the Pink Out Party This Month!

If you haven’t already noticed the many pink ribbons around town, or the bright pink accessories NFL players are sporting, it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Many different organizations around the nation will be hosting special events supporting a variety of breast cancer research centers. And, we found a great party in our very own city that you can attend for a great time and donate to the cause!

The Houston’s Ladies Night Out Meet Up Group is inviting you to their Pink Out Party on Saturday, October 18,, 2014 from 8pm-2am. All women in attendance are encouraged to wear all pink to show your support for breast cancer victims and survivors. The event will take place at Mosaic Bar & Lounge off of Almeda Road, a lovely venue that’s perfect for enjoying some lovely live jazz. You can buy your tickets in advance online, and with every $20 or higher donation, participants will receive a customized breast cancer awareness cell phone case.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Sisters Network, which operates right here in Houston. The Sisters Network is a group dedicated to providing support for women of color who have survived their battle with breast cancer. They also aim to increase local and national attention to the effects of breast cancer in local African American communities.

Come out, have a cocktail and enjoy the live music at Mosaic Lounge while supporting a fantastic cause that is very important in our diverse city.  You can make a difference during your night out this October!
