With a goal to raise money and beat cancer, AutoNation and Lennar are teaming up to bring The Yellow Party to Houston.
This event is perfect for racing organizations, drivers, sponsors and motorsports fans alike to network while having a great time for a very important cause. All of the proceeds will go to the MD Anderson Cancer Center and Racing For Cancer, to be used in the global fight against cancer in areas of education, prevention, detection and specifically, combatting childhood cancer.
Racing For Cancer is a non-profit organization that was founded by 2012 IndyCar champion Ryan-Hunter-Reay in 2010. He and his wife Beccy Hunter- Reay have since hosted fundraising events in numerous cities to put an end to cancer. The early detection and prevention, which Racing For Cancer focuses a lot of its efforts on, is critical as nearly one third of all cancer is stated to be preventable.
Dress up in your finest cocktail attire to enjoy drinks, a silent auction, and some large appetizers provided through the night. The Yellow Party starts at 7pm on Thursday, June 26, 2014 and will be located at AutoNation Mercedes-Benz of Houston Greenway.
